Meet May

Hi, I’m May, a self-taught artist from Argentina, now living in the United States. I began painting with acrylics, exploring color, nature, and emotion through each piece, and over time I fell in love with oil painting for its depth, softness, and expressive quality.

I paint as a way of creating a life rooted in presence. For me, painting is how I slow down time and stay connected when everything around me feels fleeting.

It has also helped me find my identity and build a sense of home in a new Country that did not feel like home at first. Through May D Art Studio, I create original paintings and thoughtful prints inspired by nature, quiet moments, memory, and the feeling of coming home.
