The Green Witch is the third guardian of my Magic Woman series. She is young, and she is only beginning to remember what the women before her knew: which herbs heal, which leaves protect, how to listen to the plants. Most green witches don't know they are one.
She carries the line of wise women found in every culture: the yuyeras and curanderas of Argentina, where I was born, with their sprigs of rue; the Mapuche machi; the Irish bean feasa; Hecate and Circe.
Original oil painting on panel, 8x10". Framed and ready to hang, with a certificate of authenticity. One of a kind.
Part of the Magic Woman series, alongside The Grove Keeper and The Tide Keeper.
Curious how she came to be? I documented her whole journey, from the first sketches and composition studies to the colors, on my Patreon.
